Leah began her love of art in 3rd grade… drawing birds and flowers and houses.

By High School, she was painting murals on school hallways.

She went on to earn a BFA degree in 1992. She soon fulfilled her childhood dream of working as an artist at Hallmark in Kansas City.

After a 5 year stint as a Graphic Artist at a Publishing company & Ad agency, and a Creative Director at an Import company, she quit her job to stay home with her children.

Soon after that, she founded Design Studios and began painting murals. Working closely with clients in their homes eventually led to them asking her for help choosing wall colors. One thing led to another, and she soon found herself taking on full Interior Design projects.
