Leah began her love of art in 3rd grade… drawing birds and flowers and houses.

By High School, she was painting murals on school hallways.

She went on to earn a BFA degree in 1992. Shortly after that, she fulfilled her childhood dream of working as an artist at Hallmark in Kansas City.

After a 5 year stint as a Graphic Artist at a Publishing company & Ad agency, and a Creative Director at an Import company, she quit her job to stay home with her children.

Soon after that, she founded Design Studios and began painting murals.
